In spite of the battles themselves being based mainly on the use you give your cards, SpellStorm makes it interesting by letting you see the battle take place in all its glory. You will see your units on the screen, and of course you'll actually see them attack your enemies.
Although the game has a main plot and storyline that is centered on a cult of necromancers, which you can follow through and complete, SpellStorm also comes with a PvP (player versus player) mode in which you can prove who is the strongest by facing off your Facebook friends, or strangers on the internet.
Plus, fighting other players isn’t the only thing you can do with them, you can also trade. Thanks to its card-based combat and magic system, you can buy and sell your cards to any other player who’s interested in them.
SpellStorm is a role-playing, cards, and adventure game that will prove especially fun for fans of turn-based combats. Its social component, together with its simple mechanics, allows it to be enjoyed by just about anyone.
